I just preordered this the other day.

I gotta say, that cover art looks a bit ugly. It shoulda been a cast shot or something, not some big goofy face looking at me

For taking this long releasing this set, I hope each EP has commentary!

This show is just as funny as I remembered. I am so happy to have this set, as I figured this show would never see the light of day. Thank you Anchor Bay.

Just ordered it thanks to this thread, because I had no idea it was out. Still $27 at deep discount dvd.

This was one of those shows that I thought looked to be really dumb, not funny, and quick to be cancelled, thanks to the promos. Then I watched it and laughed my ass off hard for 3 seasons.

I had the same problem. I noticed it before I opened them, so I just took them back to Best Buy with me before work and did an exchange. Got the last one we had.

I remember being at this show and it being shot in HD. The discs said they're in their original 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Maybe they were shot HD and not aired that way.

Sounds like there might be some annoying packaging problems with this set. While I had all the right cases, when I opened the first case I noticed what appeared to be disc 1 in backwards. But it was just an extra copy of disc 2 stuffed in there. Hope no one is missing theirs

I don't think I ever saw it letterboxed on TV, didn't have HD either though.

It's likely a case of the show being either not popular enough to do the HD master for DVD, or alternately, being popular enough that they think people will buy it regardless*. Titus is likely somewhere in between.

*I could swear during the startup of Star Trek Voyager, I read that it would be shot in widescreen for future HD broadcasts. If Paramount doesn't hit us with 16x9 HD versions down the road, I'll chalk it up to gossip or just my faulty memory. I also have a flicker of a memory of the last few seasons of DS9 being widescreen, but again, I can't back that up...
