Angus on DVD: What's being done?
GudEeevening. Does anyone have information relating to a release of Angus (1995) on DVD? The film was distributed through New Line Cinema, and "Turner Home Entertainment" currently holds the copyright. I've already sent letters to studios, Warner Home Video, the producer (Charles Roven), and the director (Patrick Read Johnson), but I'm sure there are other studio heads or people in their home video departments who I should write to. And I haven't the slightest clue what the regular address to "Turner Home Entertainment" is; I've looked everywhere I could on the Internet, but found nothing.
If you're interested in helping out, you can sign the online petition whose link is at the bottom of this thread. If you do, I ask that you follow the following pointers while you fill out the form:
1. Type in your FULL NAME, to avoid blank or fake signatures.
2. Select "Available to Petition Author" in regards to what to do with your e-mail. I won't send spam or the such; again, it's to make sure I have complete signatures.
3. Once done, select "Preview Signature." That will take you to another page. Once there, select "Approve Signature."
4. Make sure your name appears on the petition when done!
If you want to do something a bit more direct, you can write a letters to the studios addressed on the petition. Contact me if you wish for other addresses you can use. Thanks for your support!

it will happen....i think this one may have some music rights issues....
they have to be able to sell enough copies to offset the cost or the liscencing
with a catalog title like this it can be tough...strong cult following, outside of that not sure if most people would buy this for anymore than 15 bucks.

I liked this movie when I was back in high school since I was a dorky fat kid, but I don't see this getting a big release considering it was never a hit and now its a somewhat obscure film. We'll be lucky to get a widescreen transfer if anything.
