Question about Iron Eagle DVD (FS/WS)?

Any help here is appreciated, I just recently spent some of Blockbuster credit
on their website from the trade-in deals and one of the movies I got was a childhood favorite of mine Iron Eagle. On the Blockbuster site it described it as having the following aspect ratios:Enhanced Widescreen Letterbox/Pan and Scan.According to the back of the case though it only says Fullscreen. Anyone who has this can they please confirm that this is just incorreet on the back and the disc is dual-sided, or is this a newer disk that just has Fullscreen and I just need to return it to Blockbuster.com When I looked at dvdpricesearch it only show one version available, that being a Widescreen/Fullscreen version. Thank you in advance.

Columbia/Tri-Star oftens removes the anamorphic sides on titles that once contained both a fullscreen and an anamorphic version on each side when a title reaches the bottom of its MSRP cycle. You may or may not still be able to find some that contain both.

Also, since this doesn't have anything to do with a bargain it belongs in the DVD Talk forum.

On the back of mine it says Widescreen and Full Screen formats in the kist of features. If yours doesn't, abintra is probably right that you have the Full Screen only version.

And this is why my next TV, receiver and next-generation-format DVD player will NOT be from Sony!

Sure, that makes sense, and is relevant

Anyway, mine is the two-sided with the different ratios on each side. The UPC is 43396-83969 if that helps any.

The UPCs are the same on the reissues, making it a nuisance.

I think what Smithee was getting at was that since Sony own Columbia/Tristar and permit such practices as this, they won't be getting any more of his moeny.
