Anyway of getting Scarface (32) w/o repurchasing the boxset?

I already own Pacino's Scarface, but The Aviator is making what to check out some Hughes films, but the only way I see is to get the boxset of Scarface, which is what I don't want to do. Is there any other way?

I've seen it at used stores before. I guess someone wanted the box set and sold the "old and shitty" black and white version.

the only thing "shitty" about that is someone would actually sell off the original when it's part of the giftset. I like the original.

I'm glad to hear you liked Universal's Hell's Angels DVD. I have held off getting it (despite a local Fred Meyer having it for $10) after reading Robert Harris' slam of it over at HTF, but now I think I'll give it a try.

And jonpeters: I feel your pain, but in reverse. I bought the box set when it first came out, just to get the original version (Fortunately, FYE had the set on sale plus a rebate at the time, so the price wasn't that bad for two films.)

Or buy the box and sell the Pacino version and the money clip on eBay. I've seen the box for $30 so your end cost for the 32 version could be around $10-$15 (no guarantees, of course)

Sounds like some confusion. I don't think the 1932 film is "old and shitty." I'm just speculating that's the attitude of anyone that sells their copy at a used store.

There's an NTSC Region 0 version available from Korean DVDs for $4.99 (mods feel free to DVD Talk-ify the link if possible)
