Evil Dead II :Limited Edition tin question

Hi. I just picked this up off half.com and remember reading that there is a replacement for the dvd case for the tin. Is that true? As of now, there's just a jewel case and it's kind of weak. Anyone have a link or address as to where I sign up to get the replacement? Thanks.

The replacement program was called off right after it was announced, and so it never happened.

I bought the tin awhile ago too, never heard of the replacement program. Why was it called off?

What would be the point of a replacement? The tin had a plastic insert that kept the jewel case from sliding around. Were they going to replace that too??

The replacement was to be the paper cover used in the regular keepcase release of the film. The point was so that tin owners could buy a blank keepcase, insert the paper cover and the disc, and keep it on their shelves with the rest of their collection.

The program was called off when the response was bigger than expected.

I don't recall a physical replacement program, but I recall downloading the cover from somewhere and printing it out myself. Not certain, but it might have been off of Anchor Bay's website.

AB just had a form on their site to fill out if you wanted them to mail you the cover. After a few days, they announced the cancellation of the program.

Well, somebody made up a nice cover for download, or just scanned the regular edition. I'd offer it to the OP if I knew where the file was (we've switched HDD's since then.
