I dunno, but I doubt the Unrated version with all the extra Fv

Wake Up Ron Burgundy is just as funny as the movie, in my opinion. I like how they play it off as a sequel, which is actually clever. I can't wait to check out the other extras.

The price tag on my copy said $28.99, so I'm guessing that the normal price will be in that range (as it seems to be at many other places). You could always take the ad and pricematch elsewhere (as long as they're not anal about calling the store to make sure they have some in stock) just in case they don't get anymore in before the price jumps.

Does your little tirade at the end of your sentence also qualify you as needing to "grow up"? Just because someone says something you take offence to doesn't mean you need to make a smart ass remark. Everyone has their own opionon, why do you think you need to try to change it?

As for people wanting FS getting screwed over by not being able to buy the unrated version, it is untrue. The unrated version is availble in both FS and WS. I had some trouble finding a WS version at Wal-Mart. There were only 2 WS left, and a crapload of FS.

I bought the set blind for $19. Not bad for 3 discs. I cant wait to see it. Its a bit tough cause by the time I have time to watch a movie, I watch Carnivale on HBO HD.

I haven't watched Wake Up, Ron Burgundy yet, but the Anchorman Unrated transfer is pretty weak. The picture is soft and hazy. I don't know what happened since Dreamworks usually does a pretty solid job on their DVD transfers such as the recent Shrek 2 and Collateral. Then again, those were digital-to-digital, so I guess it's apples and oranges.

I found this to be one of the most boring movies I've ever seen - I only laughed, like, twice. And I LOVE Will Ferrel.
Good thing I only rented it.

What does everyone else thinK? I can't be the only one dissapointed with this, considering the cast.

Personally, I thought it was the funniest movie I've seen all year next to Napoleon Dynamite. But I do have a friend who saw it and thought it was the dumbest piece of crap he'd ever watched. It seems to be a real love-or-hate comedy.

And just to keep it a little more on-topic, no calendar in mine either. Bummer.

Thank you, bjh_18! I'd rather get it from Best Buy because I'd like to get the 3rd disc.

It's $24.99 at Best Buy when you ring it up. I looked in my wallet to find a few singles... luckily I had a $25 giftcard stashed in there. With tax it ended up being 26.39... so $1.49 for three Ron Burgundy discs... not too bad!

It's pretty damn funny, but not a classic. It feels kind of "slapped together" somehow, like a bunch of funny lines strung together by a weak plot. But it's worth seeing if you're a fan of Farrell and steve Carrell is great too.

I went back and picked up the rated, full frame Anchorman, because I wanted to have the version I saw in the theater as well... and lo and behold... the commentary track is different on this one. So, if you want all the extras, you need to pick up this one too.

How is the commentary on the Fullscreen different? Is it not censored, or is it different people?

So what is Uncut about the Uncut version? I last saw this movie in the theaters, and honestly can't remember what's new and what was cut.

It's a completely different recording session. It's not the same track as the one on the Uncut disc.

The good: Some extra naughty bits, such as some added dialogue after the "Go fuck yourself, San Diego" sequence.
The bad: Jokes replaced in places for no real reason whatsoever. After the pool party, Brick and Champ's details about what they did are completely different.

I believe The American President let it fly 3 times and it still got a PG-13. You can use it sparringly, as long as it is not the verb form.

I bought the 2-disc set with the Best Buy Bonus Disc and mine came with the Journal.

in the unrated commentary, they spent at least the first 15 minutes trying to push the censor.
