Could be...but I was thinking of the two guys that went aboard the Falcon in the Death Star bay. Weren't they wearing white? You know, the two "Hey can you give us a hand with this?" guys?

Hmm, I was thinking they were light grey. Oh well, sounds like a good excuse to rewatch ANH

I've got some Star Wars RPG stuff around here somewhere, I'll see if it's one of those.

I'm in the process of watching ANH now and just saw the mentioned scene. Yeah, those guys had a very light grey uniform on with one of those Imperial patches on their shoulders. They also wore a black cap. Seems like that's the way I painted that figure.

Any current news on these? Like will Yoda look different. I just watched the commentary for Episode I for the first time a few days ago. I swear that Lucas says that Yoda has always been CG in this movie. Could that be true?

EPISODE II:
Jango's backpack had some added sparks and engine trouble added digitally after the theatrical release to show he tried to get away just before Mace did him in. Lucas confirms it onthe commentary too.

I'm sure there will be another release down the road with additional changes, Lucas can't help it.

Of course there will be yet more changes... they have to fix the lightsabers that they have now screwed up in IV in the Falcon when Luke is training. They have to replace Yoda w/ CGI from I. Change Jabba yet again in IV just because they can. Add the scars to Anakin's face when his mask is removed in VI. I dont think they added the new eye scar that he has in III when the redid VI, just removed the eyebrows.

So yeah, im sure we can expect another release for the 30th anniversary in 2007.

You own two copies of ANH?

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I hate it when people take any thread about the PT as an opportunity to make it a bitchfest on how much it sucks.

i just hope they follow the same format for the ROTS dvd...2 disc with a hidden blooper reel and all that....and if they do a box set at Xmas (I'm sure they will) I hope it has an extra disc and they make the disc and box available for previous owners of the first 2 movies......

I wouldn't mind the Yoda fix at all. Yoda in Episode I stands out horribly compared to the other films. Yoda may be CG in Episode 2, but he looks a lot more like the puppet in the original films than that thing in Episode I.

Anyway, I'll have to pick this up when Episode 3 comes around. TPM is the only Star Wars film I don't like, but being the damn completist I am, I'll have to do a 6 movie marathon when Episode 3 hits theaters.

Re: TPM Yoda puppet.

It's not the puppet's fault - it's the lighting. That orange glowing sunset shit does not do wonders for his green skin and shiny eyeballs. If he was in an envirionment like the soft browns and greys of Degobah, he would have looked a lot better.

Well, he says he plans to release A New Hope in 3D theatrically for 2007. And each film after that each following year. That's his tentative plan so it goes.

I'm sure more home releases will follow.

With Ep. 3 nearly out it's time to start bugging Lucas to do eps. 7-9 he said he didn't want to do! I don't know if I like the idea of not having a Star Wars film in the offing!

how many years down the road do you think it'll be before Lucas digitally replaces Mark Hamill with a real actor?

I can guarantee that you'll have plenty of Star Wars for years to come... but it will likely be on the small screen. I fully expect to see a TV series sometime in 2006.

You want 7-9 to get made? Start introducing his children to gambling and hard drugs... Lucas isn't our last hope. "There is another."

Wrong, he has this tied up so tight in his living will. After he dies no one is to touch his series except for showing what he had done in the past. No sequals will see the light of day after his demise. I do believe a cartoon series will be coming after Episode 3, but doubt your ever going to see Lucas pull out 7-9
