I don't know if it was on the catoon network or on the disney channel but, my son caught an episode about 15 minutes in and was hooked. I dug them right from the start and can't wait to crack the seal on this puppy!

I'll be getting this for sure. I remember I used to wake up at 5 in the morning before school just to watch it, then i'd go back to bed. Great show-- everyone should give it a chance.

What's the best price on it so far?

regarding Duck Tales, I loved that too when I was a kid, but I remember a marked decline in quality(animation and story) at a certain point. Anyone know what I mean? I'd like to know exactly when that started if they release the series on dvd so i can avoid those sets.

I think I'm going to buy this simply to encourage Disney to release the Gummi Bears on DVD. That would be great.

DuckTales ran for a total of 100 episodes. Season 1 had 65 episodes. Season 2 had 35. If animation and story quality started to degrade, I'd bet that it was the entirety of season 2.

sorry to go off topic but what season was it in Gargoyles when Demona and Xantos made their own gargoyles? but they were named after places in California instead of New York. that episode was great.

I've watched the show, but I never understood what was so good about it.

I didn't like Gargoyles but I'd buy Duck Tales, Tail Spin, Rescue Rangers (Gadget ), and Darkwing Duck in a second.

Gargoyles is on my "Oh God, please let them release the dvd" list. I am actually salivating to get my hands on it. I'm on vacation, so as soon as I get home, it will be mine!

I honestly hope this release leads to more season. Besides Gargoyles, I want Ducktales and TailSpin more than ANYTHING!

Im still watching Gargoyles and man is this cartoon great. For all you on the fence. Tune into Toon Disney and check out the reruns. You wont be dissapointed.
