Anyone get "Super Fuzz" R1 yet?
And can attest to the legitimacy by Jef Films Inc....like the picture quality, the audio, is it WS or FS, etc...? I would love to know if this is at least semi- decent and warrant a pick up.
Thanks so much in advance as this is a childhood fav!

No, I haven't gotten it yet. I probably will pick it up since it'll probably be the only DVD release of this movie we'll see for quite some time. ^ for anyone who does have it and can comment on the quality.

I think I saw the R1 release listed on Terrence Hill's website, so I imagine it's somewhat legit...

These guys are excellent e-tailers - I've used them many times with absolutely no problems.
They don't list the running time for this DVD, so I can't give you a definitive answer on that particular release.

Just got this from the class bunch we talked about...
"hi!
the running time is 1hr 46min 11secs. it's a PAL dvd so the actual
film
source is about 110 mins. the quality is good, but nothing great. it
seems
the source was from some sort of video source.
let me know if you have other questions.
thanks!
tony"
so now i am thinking i may go with this version sometime in the future. i liked this movie a whole lot and would love to have any DVD of it!

so did anyone get the Jef Films version yet? I got the R2 "Super Snooper" version. Not bad, though FS (blah!). Decent pic, but definitely transfered from a video source with some major flaws. I just love that I have this on DVD.
Would like to hear about Jef Films though...

DVDVerdict has a review of this disc posted:

That's not a good sign.

If you're interested in this disc, it's because of the movie and not the technical specifications of the DVD; that's a good thing. I have to speculate on the exact specs since I can't find them listed anywhere, so I apologize if they end up being wrong. According to the packaging, this disc contains the "full length feature fulm" (yes, fulm) that's been "digitally remastered" with "enhanced audio." My deduction is that you have a full-frame transfer with a Dolby 1.0 mono track. The video was not as bad as I feared, but it's nothing great. There's a whole bunch of dirt and grain throughout, the picture is very dull with a weak palette, and the sharpness and detail are sorely lacking. I didn't see any significant errors, so you'll just have to wade through the murky picture, which is about even with a VHS tape. The audio fares a bit worse, lacking any depth or directionality. While you can hear and understand everything, the sound is a bit clipped and there's a lot of hiss; in fact, I had to turn the sound up higher than average for a DVD.

I might get this version to replace my horrible quality Jef edition.
