I'd say that the 7th is gonna break my bank, but it's already broke! Plus my wife and I are saving to buy a 52" JVC D-ILA later this month!

Well the Region 2 & 3, as well as Japan & Austalia all have a couple of hours of bonus material on it that Region 1 doesn't. They are all 2 disc sets. So the material is there. The stuldio is just intentionally holding back for a double dip. I'd expect an announcement a week or two after the bare bones release.

I spent $140 @ WalMart and $200 @ BestBuy on Saturday for just DVDs, not to mention $3000 on Plasma HD TV.

I agree. Here we're killing two birds with one stone. We're doing the 7th and 14th all in one thread, just minus the "official" poll which I find totally irrelevant anyway, in the long run.

That said, yes, both the 7th and 14th are big days for me as well.

First of all, I was going to add Top Gun to my pre-orders, but I just realized that my Dec. 7th order is already over $100, which includes Matrix Ultimate Collection, Bourne Supremacy, and Warriors of Heaven and Earth. For the 14th, I'm getting ROTK-EE and I, Robot. And then for the 21st, I'm getting King Arthur - UR DC. Sometime within that time period, I'll be getting Andromeda S4v3. Then on the 28th, I'm getting Tour of Duty - S2, Resident Evil 2 and Battlestar Galactica: mini-series

I am going to skip the movie: Collateral because, Tom Cruise has been extremely over exposed. He's been on the cover of all the entertainment magazines, TV shows, etc. I don't even want to see Tom Cruise face again anytime soon. Everywhere you looked, there he was.

Then I take it that you'll pass on Speilberg's War of the Worlds?

The 14th is a pretty small day for me, (& apparently weird one as well, since what I'm getting nobody else seems to be getting).

Super Fuzz

&

The Yakuza Papers: Battle Without Honor & Humanity - The Complete Box Set - Cannot get here soon enough, you all are really missing out not seeing or buying this.

LOTR - Box Set will have to wait for X-mas & Top Gun" CE I will get for my girlfriend so I don't count that as getting it for myself.
