I consider myself very lucky, my girlfriend works closely with my family and hers when it comes to my DVD wish list. She knows I want every disc to be in it's OAR and since I really only ask for DVDs for any occasion....Christmas, birthday, etc., most everyone does a very nice job in getting some great titles for me. I always give a large list, just so it makes shopping easier and since I'm no longer able to work, because of illnesses, I'm always behind on my 'wish list'. Here's just a small sample of what I'm asking for and if I find just one or two of these titles under anyone's tree, I'll be thrilled!

-Amicus Collection (R2)
-Night of the Big Heat (R2)
-The Quatermass Xperiment (R2)
-Hellraiser Puzzle Boxset (R2)
-Thriller Series 1-4 (R2)
-The Blood On Satan's Claw (R2)
-Stone Tape (R2)
-Dr Terror's House of Horrors ( R2-If I don't get the Amicus set)
-The House That Dripped Blood (R2-Ditto on above)
-Looney Toons Golden Collection 1 & 2
-Supercar (Complete Series)
-She Killed In Ecstasy
-Jonny Quest (Season 1)
-Eyes Without A Face
-Godzilla-Toyko S.O.S.
-Dead Ringer ('64)
-5 Dolls For An August Moon
-Bride of the Monster
-Black Narcissus
-Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace

Don't get THX if you've never seen it before. I fell for that trick when it came out. I picked it up thinking it would be good because it looked cool. When I watched it though, I thought it totally sucked. Thankfully I traded it it when blockbuster was doing the $8 thing.

My mom is getting me a Futureshop giftcard so I can pick up any dvd I want. I don't really need my family buying dvds for me anyways since every Tuesday and Friday is like Christmas .

I don't know if you know or anything, but just a heads up -- both films are foolscreen in that release.

I must be getting crabby in my old age; for some reason this thread makes me angry. I think it's pretty sad if those of you who are over 18 years of age are still asking for things for Christmas. "Get me ____________ for Christmas" seems a little vulgar to me. Whatever. I'm just bitter and no one loves me.

I didn't know that getting gifts for christmas stopped when you turned 19? I guess I feel pretty lucky.

One of my grandmothers stops giving birthday gifts when you turn 18. Other than that, we all still get each other stuff.

I buy gifts for my mom and dad, aunts and uncles, grandparents and brothers, so why would it be weird to ask for gifts for Christmas? Ever see that episode of South Park: Christmas is about the presents.
