Indeed there are extras, but for some reason, Warners haven't done too much shouting about them:
Commentary by historian Rudy Behlmer
"On Location With Gunga Din" making-of documentary
Original and re-issue trailers,
Vintage Porky Pig Looney Tunes cartoon "The Film Fan."
I remember Mama will, released at the same time will also have an intro by George Stevens Jr.

I've never seen the film but I'll definitely be picking it up, since I have a lot of faith in both Cary Grant and George Stevens.
Sounds like a pretty good DVD release too, for the price it's available for on Amazon.
