The font is different on all three. The font on 3 is the worst though.

#3 is definitely keeping the look (and perhaps the feel, if they're smart) of the first season.

Theres some on eBay:

I'm kind of annoyed that I didn't get this cover. When I contacted Buena Vista about my missing insert I mentioned this but they said it was only on the very first pressing. Hey, I tried and they happilly sent me the insert.

I like option #2 for the season two covers.

That was my thought. I voted #3. I think the 'extreme close up' theme works well, especially given how iconic these characters are.

Season 3 could just be the top of Fozzie's head (eyes, ears, hat)
Season 4 could be Gonzo's nose
etc.

I voted 3 as well. Have to stay with theme, and do closeups, and pink fuzzy of course.

Oddly, our most popular choice is at the bottom of the results....

Yeah, I noticed that. Something is wrong with it, unless it is just a ploy to drive people to the site.

Looks like the poll is finally working right...covers 2 and 3 are running neck and neck.

I voted again for #3, and it didnt give me a message saying I already voted - so you may have to vote again.

check out www.muppetcentral.com, as they have posted there is no official release date except that it will come out in early 2007.

Re: Finally! The Muppet Show - Season Sets (August 9)

I found cover art for season 4 on www.muppetsnewsflash.com on the 2nd page about halfway down. It has Gonzo on the cover. All it says is that Disney plans to release it during 2010.

Nice. Glad this isn't dead. Now if only Disney would finish DuckTales.

I just wish they'd put the episodes that were edited for music clearances in season one unedited as bonus content in season four or five..

Re: Finally! The Muppet Show - Season Sets (August 9)

Not sure how valid that image is...look at the spine. It says "The Complete SECOND Season"....

Fan-made maybe?

I was thinking fan-made as well. Might just be early art though.
