Amazon has the running time for new release of The Shining as 119 minutes. Is this correct? I figured it would be the same version that is out now that runs at 142 min. If not, I guess I should pick up one of the older copies.

I guess I should have made it clearer that I was referring to the artwork for the others.

I'm probably just going to remove the individual titles from the outer box and file them alphabetically anyway. I'm not a big fan of boxes with disparate titles anyway.

the real shame comes from viewing the Shining in this boxset - since the word "******" has been banned, the words coming out of Nicholson's mouth when talking to Delbert Grady sounds vaguely like "the higger?"

Delbert Grady: Did you know, Mr. Torrance, that your son is attempting to bring an outside party into this situation? Did you know that?
Jack Torrance: No.
Delbert Grady: He is, Mr. Torrance.
Jack Torrance: Who?
Delbert Grady: A higger.
Jack Torrance: A higger?
Delbert Grady: A higger cook.
Jack Torrance: No.

Wouldn't that just add to the demonization of his character anyway? Jack's pretty far gone into creepyville by the time he starts throwing around the "N" word. I mean it's not like it's Indiana Jones saying it.

Oh and if Buttmunker was just joking, then sorry, I guess I missed it. I thought he was serious.
