JuOn 2 Any Time Soon?

Does anyone know if there will be a US release of Juon 2: The Grudge? DVD Aficianado shows a 12/15 release from Lions gate, but I haven't been able to find any more info. Otherwise I'm considering a region free edition from eBay.....

Another one of those 'Gee I have to ask about the next edition the same day the first one comes out!' kinda guys.... these kind of posts really should be common sense to say 'maybe it's a little too early to tell'.

a better question would be... will a US release of Ring 2 ever happen?.

Seemed like a valid question to me...but whatever. I would like to see the movie and I picked up the first one today. My guess is that if LG gets cash from Ju-On, then II will follow shortly.

Hopefully we will see a Ringu 2 and Ringu 0 release near the time Ring 2 hits theaters. Hopefully, DreamWorks will have a role on the sequel DVDs, if only for the fact that the R1 Ringu DVD has the best transfer out there.

If Lions Gate makes some nice cash off of Ju-On: The Grudge; hopefully we will see the TV movies and the sequel hit DVD.

I have the TV movies of Juon: The Curse. I ordered Joun: The Grudge on R1 and am looking forward to Joun: The Grudge 2, which I read was better than its predecessor. This is a totally legit question seeing as the movies have been available in other regions for a long time now.

I asked because DVD Aficianado is showing a 12/15 date, so I thought maybe I was missing something. If not, I am considering purchasing a region free disc.

mzupeman2, common sense to me is don't answer the post if you have nothing to add about the topic.......

[Off topic] I don't know if they necessarily will release the Ring sequels in R1, eventually they probably will, but I don't know if they will when the US sequel comes out. They really aren't sticking to the storyline in the US remake, so in reality it has nothing to do with 2 or 0 other than sharing a name. [/Off Topic]

It would be nice to get an R1 release of the Juon TV movies. There are no legit releases of them with english subs anywhere yet.

Juon 2 is very good, I find all of the movies to be about equal in enjoyment.

I also would be really excited to see the 2 Juon TV movies on DVD with english subs. there are too many bootlegs out of them and the ones that aren't are too expensive.
