I hope the offer still stands, davey_4964, cos I just e-mailed you.

And thanks for the great idea, Big Worms !

The pan and scan version is on disc 2.

Yup, the offer stands. I did notice one thing. On the back cover it has a small symbol with a maple leaf and says Canadian Home Video. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but if you're still interested it's yours.

davey_4964,

As long as it's region 1, widescreen and has DTS, I want it.

Anyhoo, all the pictures I've seen of the back cover of this UE have that logo you mentioned.

Where should I look for the maple leaf you're referring to?
I quickly glanced over the back cover of the Mummy UE I have and didn't see one.

By the way, a bit off-topic but I think putting a widescreen version of the movie on one disc and fullscreen on the other with the bonus material divided between the 2 discs is very strange/inconvenient. I realize other studios have done this (Dreamworks did this with Shrek).

If the thing with davey_4964 doesnt work out RocShemp, I would say look around town in local video stores for The Mummy UE. I found my copy at blockbuster for $9.99 brand new a couple of months ago.

And also I looked on the back of my copy and It did not have the maple leaf symbol on it either.

I know I'd seen a pic of the back cover with the label davey_4964 mentioned but now I can't find one.

I guess it's a sticker added after the fact (I've seen that done on some covers) but the symbol he's refering to is common on quite a few releases when the same cover is used for both US and Canadian distribution.

That's the one I'd seen, J.P.V. But, as I said before, if it's region 1 (and Canada counts as region 1), widescreen and has DTS, I have no problem buying it from davey_4964.

And all the special features look to be the same so no problem there either.
