Thanks for the link. Too bad there's only about 10 minutes of additional footage. I was hoping that there was 20-30 more... that is about what it needed to fill in the many weak areas in the story. I'll probably end up renting the unrated one out of curiosity.

On the 1st pic, the unrated disc I have has blood covering the girl in the pic. Is this supposed to be?

The domestic Unrated disc definitely has blood across the windsheild to obsure her. The link shows the R3 release.

maybe if you do super super slowmotion, you could get the shot in the american unrated version.

Next question: Was the blood added with CG, or are these two separate takes? Should be easy to find out if you try to find the exact same frame in the R1 version (I haven't checked it out yet).

The blood on the US windsheild looks CG to me... It's not in any other shot but that one whern the woman crosses infront of the car. Just look at the very next shot of the front of the car when she crashes into the tree. No blood on the passenger side of the windsheild.

Has anyone watched this yet? Just wondering since I already picked up the Unrated disc...

Over at the HTF they've got some pretty definitive screen grabs, this "unrated" DVD is still not "uncut". Why Universal? Why do you have to suck so badly? My DVD collection has a painful absence of bare breasts, and I was really hoping to up the count with this one. I hate to sound perverted, but I was really excited to have this shot in the movie since I'm generally an animation fan and there's just not much boobage in cartoons. I wanted to go to Best Buy, get the bonus disc, get my RZ points and get some damn bare breasts!! What the hell is wrong with you!

Recall now!

Anyone got Universal's number for the BTTF or Jurassic Park recalls?

Well, just watched the DVD tonight, and was quite pleased, but why the hell would they CG edit-out breasts? The movie already shows two other people's breasts (in the R-rated version too), and this shot's in the R3 version, so what gives? Do we have another Mulholland Drive on our hands here?

Remember, in America violent movies are OK, but a little bit of tit gets everybody all worked up. I blame Janet Jackson.

And is the feature on the unrated disc like it's supposed to be (renamed maybe)?

Well, this little censoring was the straw I needed to push me into getting the Japanese DTS version. The DTS being the main reason, but the possiblilty of having more extras/cool packaging and an uncensored shot is an extra plus. I'll enjoy my R1 disc for now, but i'll be looking forward to my R2!
