Blade 2 Pack should I or Not?
November 9th there is a Blade 2 pack with a trinity preview disc coming out. I already own both movies but I'm thinking about getting it and selling my old ones. The reason I'm thinking about this is Blade is in a keepcase instead of a snapper and we all know how much we hate snappers. The set will cost about $20. If I trade it in at Blockbuster I can get $16 and use it for rentals and such. Then buy the 2 pack at Bestybuy. Well, should I or Not?

The first thing to consider is if you have the 2-disc of Blade II. The 2-pack will only have the single disc release. If you only have the single disc, then go on ahead and trade them in for the 2-pack if you really want the preview disc and Blade in a keepcase.

I already had Blade 1 and the other day I got a good deal on Blade 2 (the 2 disc version). No reason to get this 2 pack but if they ever release a nice trilogy set I will double dip.

Will they release the original Blade in a keepcase? I hate the snapper. I do like my 2 disc version of Blade 2.
Regardless I will double dip on the trilogy at a later time.

Like others, as much as i'd love to get Blade 1 in a keepcase, the single disc Blade 2 kills it. Otherwise i'd trade in my DVDs to Blockbuster while its still 8 bucks. While it would be nice to just trade in the single disc Blade 2 from the 2 pack, there's a chance the UPC might be marked or scratched off to prevent individual resale.

It's already available in a keepcase and has been for quite some time now, as have a number of other New Line releases that originally came in a snapper. I've seen it many times at Wal-Mart and Best Buy by itself and the upcoming 2-pack will have it.

I saw Blade in a keepcase at a boothe in a flea market in Kissimmee, FL back in June.
However, I don't need a new one. I've already got Blade in a keepcase with a custom cover that uses a matching font with Blade II. Take a look at the current Blade and Blade II text fonts. They're different. Before dvdcoverart went down, I downloaded matching covers. Plus the new covers lack the critics' quotes.

I'm waiting for the trilogy too. I just hope they include the 2nd disc of Blade 2 in there.
