Lois & Clark coming to DVD 6/7/05

From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
Neil Ottenstein emailed us earlier today to tell us he heard a rumor that Lois & Clark would be released in 2005. We've asked Warner Bros about the series a few times over the past year and they've told us they're looking into it, and that they'd like to release the set, but it's never been scheduled. This morning we decided to follow up on the series again, and we were told that they are working on the set, and it'll be released sometime in 2005. We asked them to narrow it down, but they were reluctant to do so since the date could change. We'll keep you updated with any information we receive.

The news should make Dean Cain happy, as he expressed interest in seeing the show on DVD last December. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Justin Whalin (Jimmy Olsen #2) when I was in Las Vegas this past July and he was excited at the thought of seeing the show on DVD.

It's a bit sad that the good news that this show will be released comes the day after Christopher Reeve passed away. Reeve played the Man of Steel in 4 theatrical movies.

Nowhere near as much as the Burton/Cage flick was heading towards...

I actually liked this show, so I'll be up for it. Love superhero stuff. Between that and the animated series, I'll be good to go on Superman for quite a while.

Great News! I've been waiting for this one for a while. Not sure if i'll stick around for the time-travelling HG Wells crap in the later seasons though.

well once this season of smallville is over, I'm sure you can have another series that will destroy superman even worse then L&C.

Ah, fun!

L&C is to Superman as "Wonder Woman" was to, well, Wonder Woman. Silly, bad effects, etc - but oh so enjoyable.

I really want the old Adventures of Superman series with George Reeves but I guess I can settle for Lois & Clark (for now).

Great series. I loved the last episode of the series. I know, I'm a sappy hopeless romantic

I wasn't a big fan of the first season but I think it really picked up after that. Went downfill aagain after Justine Bateman showed up though.

Teri Hatcher is insanely hot & wasn't Bruce Campbell a villain in an episode.

Even with both, I would never buy this set, Dean Cain sucks.

Just as long as they destroyed the master copies of all the episodes after the wedding.

I will surely be getting this one.

Hey, this is definitely great news for L&C fans. The show was goofy and never took itself too seriously. My better half is going to be really happy about this.

And yes, Terri Hatcher is a stone fox.

Nice, this will be a great addition to my DVD collection, it can go right next to all of my Smallville sets.
