Yeah tell me about it! I'm only 22 but I did watch that show on Nick At Nite all the time when I was younger. I used to love all the classics more than regular TV shows... dick van dyke, mary tyler moore, the honeymooners, sanford and son, get smart, bewitched, i love lucy... the list goes on and on.

agreed 100%.

I liked Lois and Clark at the time, but I do think it was a little too campy. I always thought Terri Hatcher was hot...

Slightly off subject: during L&C she was really hot, when she was doing the Radio Shack commercials she really deteriated and looked like she was on crack , now all of the sudden she is hot again, WTF?

That's awesome. I think this was my favorite Superman series, even moreso than Smallville.

Agreed. That short haircut she had made her unattractive. But now on Desperate Housewives she looks hot again.

This will be the first full season I've purchased of a live action tv show. I put in my reservation on Sat. at my local Sam Goody.

During the recent chat with Warner Bros over at HomeTheaterForum, WB reps said that Superboy was actually being considered for a DVD release...which I would LOVE!!!

[MattSav] Now Warner has announced Lois&Clark and 1950's Superman, have
you/would you please consider the superb 1988-1992 "Superboy" live action
series for 2006? Also, I know the animation dept. isn't there, but I'm
voicing my support for a release of the 1980's animated "Ruby Spears'
Superman" series based on the movie mythology.

[WarnerHomeVideo] SUPERBOY is under consideration.
You can read the complete transcript here

I for one would be thrilled to see Superboy get a DVD release!! I just hope they do all the seasons and do not ignore the first season, which featured John Haymes Newton as Superboy... Don't get me wrong, Gerrard Christopher was great, but when I was a kid, our local station only aired Season 1 (which I taped and watched a million times). I did not see any of the later seasons after Newton was replaced until years later. So, to me, having the first season would be great!

Love the show, I liked how it loosely followed the comic at the time: Luther, Marriage...

Still waiting to hear about Season 1 of the 1950's Superman .
That is the only season of that show I am interested in as after Season 1 they made it more of a children's show with childlike crooks and nutty professors.
