alan clarke films: recommend?

I've never heard of any of the movies included in the new Blue Underground collection, but they sound mighty appealing. Does anyone have this collection and can recommned it?

I picked it up and loved every film in it. The Firm was my personal favorite, Gary Oldman is just fantastic in it. Made In Britian and both versions of Scum were great as well. Elephant was also a very interesting film. BU did a fantastic job with it.

Welcome to the forum!

We have a thread floating around devoted to Blue Underground. If you click the link I provided and go to the last page, towards the top someone comments on the set.

The One and Only Blue Underground Thread

There is also a Review and Recommendation Forum where a question such as this is more appropriate. Check it out HERE .

I, myself, don't have the set. Not sure if all the movies are my cup'a tea but some sound intriguing.

Watch everything he's done.

Great director and that BU set is very good. Try and catch Elephant which Gus Van Sant paid a very strong homage to with his film, Elephant.

Review of the set here
