What?! No deleted scenes?

Even though I have yet to watch the docu or the featurettes... is there no mention of the deleted scenes from any of the three films:

- IV:
The Cd-Rom "Behind the Magic", includes a few additional scenes not shown in any subsequent release.
Luke watching the space battle with his electrobinaculars, and a droid with him breaks down as he leaves it behind and drives off in his speeder.
Luke goes into Anchorhead and there are several characters that are playing a pool-like game with sticks. Biggs is there and greets Luke, and they all go outside to watch the space battle, which has ended by now. Everyone laughs at Luke and refer to him as "Wormie" and exclaim "Not again."
Luke describes a race where he used his Skyhopper in Beggar's Canyon and almost crashed (a description matching Episode I's pod race exactly, also set in Beggar's Canyon). Biggs then describes how he intends to defect and join the Rebel Alliance and how things are not what they seem because of the Empire.
There is an alternate version of the Cantina sequence where Han Solo is with, and kisses a woman. Many of the creatures were studio generic masks from other movies because Stewart Freeborn was ill during this portion of production.

- V: C3PO and the wampa room (seen briefly in one of the trailers for the film)

- VI: extended Rancor Pit scene/sandstorm sequence

I would have liked to see deleted scenes in this release cause this is one of the only set of movies that I actually care to see extras like that

These scenes are covered extensively in the stills gallery, with comments.

cool!

In regards to the Rancor Pit scene I could sworn this little moment (jawas stomping on Luke's hands) was restored briefly to the NBC television cut of the film.

Hopefully they'll put them in a next release. Would of been great to see them, even in their unfinished state.

Even Ep1 + 2 has delete scenes we haven't seen yet

Totally stupid that they didn't include them since they're already done.

Check out the trailers. You will at least see a few seconds of deleted scenes for Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi edited into the trailers.

The absence of deleted scenes, which are available on the Star Wars CD-ROM, only adds more fuel to rumors that they may yet appear on DVD with new Star Wars Special Edition DVDs (and hopefully original theatrical versions of the films).

Come on guys, this is Star Wars, there will be a new version along every other week (just like there was on VHS)

In fact George only has to change the colour of the box and most of the people here will rebuy it

I think people are crazy to NOT already know that there will be re-re-releases of this set.

So will I; I'd still love to have the deleted scenes now though since I never bought that CD-ROM thing.
