at the link above it lists a Retrospective with Mike Judge. Maybe this is what some were thinking would be a commentary?

Nice, pretty cool artwork.

canaryfarmer 08-12-05 04:08 PM

Is the "special offers" post-it a permanent part of the artwork?

Zodo 08-12-05 04:29 PM

I sold off my old edition, so I REALLY hope there's more to this SE than some deleted scenes and some short featurette.

Also, anyone have any idea what that stupid 'special offers inside' comment means?

Is a new anamorphic transfer not enough? Because, for me at least, that's definitely sufficient to warrant a purchase...

onebyone 08-12-05 05:42 PM

I like that art. A lot. I can't wait to pick this up.

Big Worms 08-12-05 05:53 PM

Pretty cool cover.

Cameron 08-12-05 06:36 PM

they forgot to put their cover on the TPS reprort....and we're now putting cover sheets on all special edition TPS reports.

haha and the stapler

I'm definetly grabbing this for the anamorphic widescreen

jiggyblau 08-13-05 12:50 AM

Great cover. Very excited about this one...

Fincher Fan 08-13-05 12:53 AM

No. I don't think they're planning on releasing one.

theguyoverthere 08-13-05 06:15 AM

Perhaps a thread rename is in order....

steebo777 08-13-05 06:37 AM

It's actually going to arrive. I still can't believe it. I am pumped.

You mean like how they were they only ones who used to know when Star Wars was coming to DVD? -ohbfrank-

CKMorpheus 08-14-05 01:30 PM

It's about time. I hope the behind the scenes documentary is relatively comprehensive. I really wouldn't want it to be a 15 minute featurette of cast members praising other cast members.

calhoun07 08-14-05 10:53 PM

You took my A-ha

Ok, it has nothing to do with the SE DVD, but this seemed like a good place to post it!

ShagMan 08-15-05 08:10 AM

haha, that was kinda funny, matches the style of the original video too :)

CertifiedTHX 08-15-05 07:55 PM

I'm guessing this will come with a slipcase, and I wouldn't be surprised if the metal parts were embossed. Would make for a cool look.

Brilliant!

QuikSilver 08-18-05 12:06 AM

Looking forward to this. Its seem like we have waited forever for a SE of Office Space. How many years has it been? Five?

Considering one of the subplots of the movie was he was working on software for Y2K, I would say that is accurate! But I've only been waiting a few months, because it hasn't been that long ago that it got announced1
