James Stewart DVDs
James Stewart did over 70 films..Does anyone know anything about any future Jimmy Stewart DVD releases? I would love 7th Heave, Carbine Williams, Broken arrow, and many many others. I wish more of his stuff would come out.

I love Broken Arrow! It's one of my all time favorites. I've been counting the days, months, etc. waiting for this release. Hopefully in the near future espically with the release of Arrowhead another favorite of mine being released in a couple of months this will follow suit. I'd get this the minute it would come out.

I've got Winchester '73, Bend Of The River, The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance, and The Man From Laramie on DVD. They are all great.
I'm hoping to get Night Passage soon.
If I remember correctly, isn't Vertigo a non-anamorphic widescreen release on DVD currently? That's one I've never seen, but I'd like to.
I'm hoping to be able to get The Naked Spur on DVD before too long - that one is considered by many to be his best Western.
Jimmy Stewart was great - he was able to fit in to many genres and make it seem like each one was his specialty. One of the greatest actors of all time.

You should get that and Rear Window. Also Anatomy of a Murder, one of his best.

Still waiting on an announcement for The Naked Spur on DVD...
Hope I'm not waiting too long.
(I'm probably going to hold out for an anamorphic version of Vertigo - with widescreen TV's becoming more common a remastered version enhanced for widescreen TV's shouldn't be more than, say, 5 or 6 years off.
Hopefully it comes sooner than that, though...)

can't believe ten people have posted and not mentioned either mr smith goes to washington, or the philladelphia story....
universal also did a 5 disc box last year, that is worth a purchase if you don't have the films

Ok, so Carbine Williams...Who owns it? Where is it? What's the holdup?
One of the few I have never seen. Got into a conversation about it with someone and now I need to watch it...so Little help here.
Carbine Williams At IMDB
