Sometimes the DTS software website (www.dtsentertainment.com) will sell them when they have a bunch left over of the older volumes. Other than that, eBay is about your only choice. I always get the new one every year down at CES in January.

It's free, but you have to work in the industry. This is easy to work around. Just make up a fake company and register. They don't check anything as the show draws about a quarter million people each year.

MLSRules - I ordered this DTS sampler about 2 weeks ago through this link.

https://www.widescreenreview.com/sub...ubformdts.html

I've already received it and it's pretty good. The only thing is I don't remember if they sent me Volume 1 as the link implies. I'll have to check when I get home to see which volume it is. IIRC, there are trailers for Saving Private Ryan and The Haunting. There are about 15 trailers in all, but I only had a chance to skim through this disk so I couldn't name all the titles off the top of my head. Good luck in your search.

The show? No, Vegas will still be inundated in early January.

Is it just a collection of trailers, or does it actually have movie scenes? I have an early version of this disc (picked up free at CES a few years back) and it was pretty worthless.

Yes. It's just a bunch of trailers. I was basically looking for a disk that had some good DTS demos. If I had my druthers, I would create my own disc with scenes from my favorite movies. But for 5 bucks, IMO this isn't a bad deal.
