DVD Talk Limited Edition
From what I've heard, the video is a new transfer, but the DD5.1 track is not.

Ugh. I was hoping some of those dreadful foley effects would be fixed. And I was hoping for a DTS track.
I sold my barebones edition in anticipation of this. Guess I needn't have bothered, as I never saw any problems with the transfer. Special Edition? Stinks like a whorehouse at low tide...

Personally, I don't mind that much; from his movies, de Palma is much better at telling things visually than verbally.

I'm I incorrect that the first DVD had a lot of edge enhancement? I thought I remember this. Plus with the severe dark to light in this film there were many halos?
If so, can we confirm that this new transfer will be better?
