I love to get it...but I'll double dip when it's on HD-DVD. Not going to double dip with the DVD format.

That iconic James Bond image is a shot from inside a gun barrel as it tracks James Bond...he turns and fires first, killing the person aiming at him.

The inside of gun barrels have grooves in a spiral pattern, to make the bullet spiral as it flies(think of how a football looks flying through the air- the spiral motion steadies it). Each spiral pattern is unique, and that's how they can prove a certain gun fired a certain bullet, because the grooves mark the bullet.

The things you learn watching CSI...

Yes I relized right away what they where trying to do with the spiral of the gun barrel, its just the set looks nothing like the spiral of the gun barrel you see in the beginning of each bond film

I'm a huge James Bond fan, but missed picking up all the titles individually because of the re-released sets not splitting up the films for individual sale. So, I only have about half of the 007 movies right now. I've been waiting for this re-release, and will gladly double-dip on all the Bond films, but if HD-DVD (blue ray) comes out so soon afterwards, I might have to hold off.

Does anyone know how likely it will be that the studio will double-dip on the Bond DVDs twice in two years?

I just need 2 or 3 but I won't pay for an entire new set.

Yeah, but I guess they had to do what they could given the size of a dvd.
