What becomes the "most anticipated DVD"?

Now that Star Wars, Indy and Godfather are all out?

Blade Runner SE?

Nope. Still Star Wars. Classic Trilogy that is.

Nothing for me. SW is the last of the catalog titles I've been anxiously waiting for.

Besides SW, Garden State is my most anticipated DVD, but that's not even close since I just saw that and I'd been waiting for SW, Indy, etc. since getting a DVD player in 1998.

I would have to say Eddie Murphy: Delirious for me. Raw comes out next week.

I would love to see Over The Edge (IMDB) on DVD.

This teen rebellion film got heavy play on Showtime/HBO during the early eighties. I was a young teen at the time and was just flat out riveted by it. I'd love to see it again.

For me, "Ace in the Hole" and the promised rerelease of "Double Indemnity" are much more anticipated than "Star Wars." (I like "Star Wars" too, though -- at least the first two. I, too, wish they were releasing the un-screwed-up versions...)

Personally I'm still waiting for a decent R1 version of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.

As you can see by the completely random titles suggested, there basically ain't one.

Truth is, there really seems to be no movie that virtually "everyone" wants after this. At least I can't think of any. I read the posts above and everything seems to lack the mass and nearly universal appeal of titles such as Star Wars, The Godfather, Back to the Future, etc.

How about a realistic release schedule for The Simpsons season sets? A lot of people seem to think we'll never get all of them before the format is obsolete.
