I wonder if everything from the OOP set is being carried over. Given the "Ultimate" title I'd assume so, but you never know

From DavisDVD.com...

This three-disc set is due on November 23rd and will include all three films in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. Extras include an audio commentary with Sylvester Stallone, deleted scenes, the n-ever-before-seen alternate suicide ending, trailers and Full Spectrum Warrior XBox game demo. Retail is $44.98 for the set, or $19.98 for each title individually.

Are the transfers the same as the tin SE release?

It appears no DTS tracks this time around. As of now, until further info is revealed, it looks like I'm holding onto the Tin.

Sure sounds like it's dropping a lot of the extras from the previous set to be calling itself "ultimate".

Those covers look cheesy as hell.

The covers look bad, but I am happy I sold my tin. I am looking forward to the commentaries and deleted scenes on this upcoming release (none of which were on the tin).

No official word on new transfers. I think I will just keep my tin set.

Yes, it is.

The "tin" is First Blood I & II and Rambo III in a metal [tin] case. I don't know if the box actually made of tin, but it's called a tin anyway.

I think I will too, I'm not sure what use I'll have for this feature:

MetaSight - Precision laser-guided targeting for seeing the enemy and other threats even before Rambo does. Appears as crosshairs that zoom into a target with laser pointer spot appearing on target. MetaSight will be displayed via picture in picture. Frame will display a brief synchronized animation segment showing the zoom in to the target. 9 MetaSight targets, 3 for each film in the trilogy, each 5-15 seconds.

Isn't Brian Dennehy pretty easy to spot anyway?

Well for $26 on DDD I'm going for it, especially with Stallone commentaries (or is it just on Part 1?). Plus the deleted scenes and the alternate ending.

This case:

That used to contain the same special editions that you have the individual disc for.

Now..another question, I wanted to order First Blood from Columbia House to close an account since it's 19,95$...

Will I regret not getting the newer release edition??

or the tin edition would satisfy my needs!??
