I agree! But, as a major G-fan for many years, I've noticed that Toho likes to attach this holographic decal to (nearly) every official G item that's released. So, I left mine on.

back to the original topic in this thread... ahem.. just finished going through all the supplements on both discs. Commentaries were some of the best I have heard - not a boring moment or a dead spot in either. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed the commentary to the Burr version better and came away with a new sense of appreciation for a film that I have despised for 40 years.
Incredible supplments. Only gripe is that the original PQ seems darker and more contrast than the US version... but this is a quibble in an otherwise excellent set.

Yeah, it's a must have for Godzilla fans and sci-fi fans in general. That being said, do you (that being anyone reading this who owns the dvd) think this is an essential part of any cinephile's collection?
