What time do you usually watch your DVDs?

I get home around 4:30, my wife around 6:30, so I try to watch one then; get a second one in later if I have time. Also Fridays/Saturdays I watch late into the night, after she goes to sleep.
Generally, she just doesn't like to watch the same DVDs I do.

people tend to think that because I work anywhere from 50 to 70 hours a week...that I have no time to watch films. here is an average day for gut:
work(brutal and physical) from about 7:30am until around 7pm. thats a light day. depends on the jobs my wife books...and she is damn good. after that...I come home to do job estimates for 4 or 5 people...then take 30min to prep for the next ballbusting day. with my job.....and at my age.....I can barley walk straight at night. so what else to do? RELAX and HEAL. and the best way to do this is to viddey a few films/dvds. I slip into a coma around 8pm and go to sleep around 1am. during that stretch....I'm watching. when I decide to take a few days off(rare, because I'd rather run my biz and make $)...it's usually on new release day and I sometimes spend the whole day watching films. thats when I plan my marathons.
after all...if I can barley walk and talk...what else would I actually do? of course my wife joins me for most movies....then goes to bed when the heavy gore and violence begins.

I get up early during the week so I rarely have time to watch them M - Th. Generally a couple each Friday and Saturday night 9:00 pm - 1:00 am and during the winter sometimes 1 or 2 on a Sunday afternoon when there is no good football game on.

On the rare chance that I have some free time, I just look and stare at my collection, thinking about what movie I'd like to watch, slowly replaying the movie in my head, figuring that I remember enough of the movie that I don't want to watch it, then continue staring at my collection. This repeats for about 3 or 4 cycles. Then I get tired and watch regular TV or go to sleep.

weekdays: movies between 6PM and 10PM (sound system way too loud to be watching later than that)
i am amazed at how many folks here have dvds on as 'background noise' - when i watch a movie i don't answer the phone, i don't fall asleep and i don't do anything else besides watching the movie (food & smoking doesn't count) ;-)
i HATE it when i get interrupted for some reason and have to finish a movie the next day...

I work from 2:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m., so I'm usually not able to watch anything until I get home from work around midnight. On my off days I try to pack more DVDs in, but I'm typically limited to one (two, tops) a night when I work.

I generally watch 1 per night between 6-9 pm. My wife watches 3-4 per day some days. She works at home on her computer and watches the same 15 -30 movies over and over. She does medical transcription and wears a headset, so she watches movies she knows all the dialouge to, such as the Tremors series,Lonesome Dove, the 2 Mummies, and other action movies. No comedies or chick flicks at our house......Excellent.....

I can never bring myself to watch a DVD any other time than night. I like the "Friday night at the theater" feeling/experience. Daytime viewing just doesnt feel right to me. I usually watch about 5 DVDs a week @ 8PM.
