The Breakfast Club DVDs?

What is the difference technically between the original version and the high school reunion edition besides the covers?

I have the High School Reunion version, and the quality is the great, but I don't understand why they didn't include any extra materiale. I'm crossing my fingers for a 20th year aniversary edition box set or something.

I've never understood why a cast reunion commentary was never filmed for this and other "brat pack" movies, because many stars have expressed interest in commentaries.

The new Breakfast Club DVD has the original soundtrack music restored - in the first one the original songs from the film were NOT included. It really made the original disc unwatchable.

The new disc is less than $10 - so why worry about CH? Just buy the damn thing. It's a pretty good disc for being bare-bones. Looks and sounds great.

Any movie that isn't available at Columbia House I either:

a) Buy it used
b) Wait for a good deal on it if it's right around what I would pay during the future DDD sale
c) Put it on my DDD 20% sale wishlist.
