First BB I hit at lunch was out, so I went to the used CD store next door and got NOTLD '90. On the way home I checked another BB and they had a ton of them, pre-assembled. I noticed the flaps wouldn't stay in, so I put Vol 2 in and held them in place as I did a bit of browsing. When I finally went to check out, the flaps were staying put. So of course the cashier rips it open to scan the UPC

So on the way home, I put NOTLD in with Vol 2 to help shape it and I got tell you, that was a pretty weird looking double feature.

The flap stuck out too on mine too. So I just sealed it shut with a piece of invisible tape. Works for me

bumpity-bump...

So, what's going on with these? Are they long gone at BB? Are their warehouses bursting at the seams with excess cardboard inventory? Is that extra one I have a skyrocketing investment or just 1 cent worth of non-recyclable cardboard?

No clue about the investment aspect. However, BB online is still selling it for $7.99.

I cannot believe this thread is 5 pages long, you guys are awesome. I picked up mine today when getting the Scorsese box set (and Duel!) since Bestbuy.com didn't include it when I ordered Vol 2 online They had a billion boxes at the store and you could just pick one up no problem. And, uh, my box closed fine. You just got to have the talent of the bend.

Worked with mine as well.. I ended up getting my brother pick one up for me for a penny so i didn't have to buy one for $8 off the website.

8 bucks for a box! Why isn't this in the bargain thread?

Seriously, alot more fans of that film than I expected. I thought there was alot of fluff he could have cut out and made one good film.

This worked for me perfectly. Thanks.

I like the front of the box with the original poster on it personally. The rest is just... eh. Maybe the ebay suckers are still biting.

No I think he's just getting ahead of himself. You can see how he usually has an open slot for most of the series movies. Although I do like the Kill Bill cases... alot more the Best Buy's. But mine was free, so there.

I was just at Best Buy today and they STILL have a lot of boxes. For those interested it was the Mission Valley store and were stuffed in one of those "new release" kiosk thingies located to the right of the DVD section.
