They probably figured (and rightly so) that the vast majority of people who want to buy Vol. 2 already bought Vol. 1, thus they're making a deal for another QT movie they are less likely to own.

There is a $5 off manufacturer coupon on the shrinkwrap that you could use if you purchase both V.1 and V.2 together.

Just a heads up that I bought the case at Best Buy by itself and the register rings it up for $.01. Not sure if this is everywhere, but at least one other person mentioned the same thing in another thread, so YMMV. Maybe buy a candy bar at the register (as I had happened to do), just in case it raises a price check call!

FWIW, the case is pretty crappy. Flimsy cardboard with the headshots of the main players on the side oppsoite the sword side.

I didn't even buy Kill Bill (I got it last week), I just went to BB to get the Triumph dvd, and I just asked for the KB box (they had about 20 at each register) and they just gave me one for $.01. So there.

It's no flimsier than boxes used for TV-DVD digipacks (think Family Guy, Buffy, ect.) and the art work is cool - it's easily worth a cent - but I woldn't pay more than a buck-fifty for it.

I like the case. Sure, it's not thick, sturdy cardboard, but for the price (free or 1 cent), it's quite nice.

If anyone would be willing to pick me up a case I would really appreciate it. I'll pay for shipping to Canada + throw in a couple of bucks for your trouble.

The box was suprisingly pretty high quality. I was expecting it to be paper thin with best buy logos on it, but it looks pretty nice. It looks sweet on my DVD shelf right next to my LotR EEs.

I like the special sleeve. The guy at our BB said that they received 1300 copies of the DVD but only 150 boxes. I guess only BB knows how many were released, but supply and demand will ultimately determine if this is a "joke" or something that will ultimately be sought after. I'm keeping one of mine wrapped up in a safe place "just in case".....

The BB I work at had 400 on hand for today, and another 1200 on order.

The amount of cases is dependent on the stores traffic. I picked up mine this morning, and I like the slipcase, it is nice, and can't be beat for a penny.

But not Mr. Brown... That slipcover is OOP and it ain't coming back... It still sells well on eBay, if it's sealed. > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6314358532

I got my case but the stupid back flap keeps popping out? For those of you who got it, does yours just stay tucked in? I think I'm gonna have to use a lil bit of glue to keep that sucker from popping out.
