This has to win the award for most scenes in the trailer, not in the movie.

So what? Kill Bill was seven minutes longer, anyway.

According to DVD Times, the unrated version will run 103 minutes (nine minutes longer than the theatrical cut) and Wake Up, Ron Burgundy will have a running time of 83 minutes.

And both the rated and unrated cuts both have fifteen minutes of deleted scenes as a bonus feature. So the two-disc set will have almost 110 minutes of never before seen footage.

Nice. I am looking forward to Wake-Up Ron Burgundy. I really enjoyed Anchorman in the theater.

It'll be nice to actually see this happen for once. I've seen and heard about too many movies with "hours" of extra footage and when the DVD hits, we get five minutes, or worse, nothing.
If they follow thru, maybe it will set a precedent.
I don't know where I stand on this. On one side it may be interesting. On the other side a lot of deleted scenes are deleted for a very good reason. let them stay deleted.

All 3 versions will have
-English Dolby 5.1, 2.0, French Dolby 5.1
-many subtitle options including Aramaic
Extras:
-Outtakes
-Deleted Scenes (15 min)
-Bill Kurtis interviewing Ron Burgundy
-Ron Burgundy A&E Biography Special
-Ron Burgundy MTV Music Awards Interviews
-Afternoon Delight Music Video
-Behind The Scenes of the Music Video
-ESPN Audition
-And More!

The Theatrical Version is Full Screen Only so beware.
The Extended Version is Widescreen Only 1.85:1 16x9
with 10 minutes of added footage.

The Giftset will have the Extended Widscreen version,
plus "Wake Up Ron Burgundy" a second feature film,
with more extras including Ron Burgundy's Month To View Journal.

giftset looks quite good.
Just avoid the Fullscreen

Not a great movie but had some decent laughs.

I'll probably just get the unrated extended version unless I can find a really good deal on the 2-pack.

After Christmas Day??? The Marketing Department should be fired.
Why? The Fast and the Furious, xXx, and S.W.A.T. were all released after Christmas Day and they sold millions of copies. Don't underestimate releasing a DVD after Christmas.

I would also add that American Pie 2 and American Wedding were also released after Christmas and sold more copies than the original American Pie (which came out a few weeks prior to Christmas in 1999).

So why is the theatrical version full-screen only??
Because most people will be buying the unrated version? DreamWorks did the same with Old School and Eurotrip.

I am SO buying the 2 disc version. I LOVED anchorman and can't wait to see Wake Up Ron Burgundy. I've got the Anchorman Theatrical Standee sitting in my basement, December can't come soon enough!
