from the pictures i've seen, i think the image quality really enhances the campiness of the film

Would a mod please lock this thread before I unleash a string of brutal profanities against this unapologetic, insulting, juvenile TROLL!

u really need to take some type of pill. this obsession of yours was fun to poke fun of at first, but since you clearly have no sense of humor about yourself or this movie, sadly this whole thing really is just pathetic.

I'll stick with the Region 4 DVD. Don't forget tonight at midnight Flash Gordon on HDNET.

Yeah, right, you've said that... how many times in this thread???

Come on, tell us it's a "very less than stellar film" again. And again. And again.

Oh my, he added to his post! Once again, he says he's done, but he's not!

Telling me to "take a pill" wasn't enough?

I have no obsession. Aside from not rolling over for your behavior. I enjoy this movie. You insult me and it.

And thanks for admitting that you weren't trying to have a discussion, you were just interested in "poking fun" at me. Others have said they think it's campy, but they haven't been trolls about it, like you.

We know you don't like it, but you bought it anyway. Your need to keep telling us those things repeatedly is what is pathetic. And for anyone wondering what this dolt has done - I recapped a bunch of his posts not far back.

This "whole thing" had been over, until you started it up again. Don't try and play innocent.

I think we need to have a poll to determine what percentage believe the film is camp. I remember when my father ran this movie at his theatre right before Christmas. After he saw the boxoffice receipts, he had some choice descriptive words for it that make camp sound generous. I was seven at the time and found it pretty entertaining though at the time I had no concept of "camp." Max von Sydow definitely steals the show though and not in a campy way.

I think you are way too sensitive. Scott's post #326 made me chuckle. It was a light hearted funny post considering what transpired in the thread prior to it. That is why he ended it with

As far as the new DVD goes, I had a grin on my face the entire time I watched it. The colors in this movie really scream out to be released in HD.

Mod note: Altimus Prime and scott1598 I strongly suggest both of you leave this thread and don't look back. Please don't take this to other threads either. If need be used the ignore user function so you don't have to see each other's posts anymore.

I am having a streak of bad luck in everything I order or buy lately

I just went to Best Buy, I bought Flash Gordon. It was $16.99 and it had the sticker. But when I opened it there was only the B&W card!! And I got it from BB cause it was supposed to have the other card! This sucks!! Everything I buy or order lately is bombing one way or the other!

Since this is the 2nd time I read about someone getting shorted a postcard, I decided to open my set, and thankfully there were 2 inside.

Flash Gordon not camp? First I heard of it. I thought it bordered on straight out gay. Homophobes clearly can't accept it...

Just got my set yesterday. While, it sucks that it lacks certain features...I like the case and the look of the set. The b&w postcard is fine (would have been nicer done in vivid colors). I look forward to sitting down and watching Flash this week!
