Most of these photos are truly inspiring. I'm thinking of buying some storage. Will the new formats use the same size cases as today's DVDs?

I hope they are wise unough to use cases that are similar in size to each other as well as current DVDs AND video games (Game Cube, PS2 and X-Box).

This looks more like a gallery than a HT. While cool having all the props and memorabilia, I think it looks a little cluttered all in one room like that. Just my 2 cents.

There are going to be two different size cases. You are going to have some studios using one style of case, while another one uses another one. At the same time you are still going to have the old (current) style.

Dutch isn't out on DVD which is lame. Here's hoping they bring it out in '05. That's awesome that he has the Laserdisc of it. It is a great movie.

I have gone into a stupor just looking at your movie props! My hats off to you for an impressive display!!!

I can't even begin to imagine what you had to spend to get all that!

One thing we do have in common is the Braveheart sword. It is one of the highlights of my pesonal sword collection!

I am very envious of your Gladiator helm!!

Big thumbs up for props from THE DUKE!!!!

Once again, hats off to you and If you acquire anymore cool props, please post pics!!!

Take care!!

You can pick up a lot of them props on various sites if you have the cash, and most are never the actual props as they make loads of most of them, but the do look stunning if displayed well! and his are!

I bought some from Resident Evil Appocolypse the other day, now thats classy! I am sure none came withn a hundred miles of the actual sets, but hey they look nice anyway and thats what counts.

Go here for some gobsmacking props! some cheap, some cost more than a house! but boy if I win the lottery they all will be mine!

Here we go....not enough room, not enough money for shelves with crazy Swedish names...

On the right my Denon AVR-3801 (and at least three Ikea shelves )

Hmmm.....

In the bag is the Korean MY TUTOR FRIEND LE, the black thing is the German Godfather box and the two other boxes you might know

Behind the Spawn box are some DVDs and in the right cabinet door

In the back is the ERASERHEAD SE

Former home of boxer shorts, now home for some really unhandy DVDs (the black one, is the Korean BLOOD - THE LAST VAMPIRE LE)

I have those same Benno racks, but how exactly did you add that portion on the right side there? As I myself could use some space like that.

Looks like he used the other side board (but cut up) as shelves (as those shelves are a tad thicker) and basically nailed it in, which would explain the slight offset b/t shelves on either side. They are an inch or so lower so he could nail in from that side, I would guess.

That looks like a wall-mounted shelf you can buy at IKEA. It's just turned vertically and mounted next to the floor shelves.

The Futurama set is still available at Amazon.co.uk...
