Just picked up my Bulls set at the local Fry's for $35. Either they didn't get a lot of these or they did but it sold out fast because there was only one on the shelf that I found and it wasn't even displayed front-face but rather spine-face. I almost missed it.

One thing I noticed with the Lakers set, NO photo of KOBE on or in the packaging!

Has this ongoing trial really tarnished his image that bad?

Ridiculous. I wonder if they also digitally edited him out of the games too.

Amazon has dropped their price for the Lakers set to $49.99 (w/ free shipping). Not bad if combined with STL and a GC or two.

I've been watching the Chicago Bulls set the past few days and I'm a little dissapointed. The Bulls/Lakers game is not complete, the first half of the game only takes up 16 minutes of DVD time, pretty drastic considering that there should be at least 24 minutes of game time and at least 20 minutes of instant replays, banter during 20 second time outs and other things.

Also, the documentaries left out quite a bit of stuff. Jordan's departure and return were hardly touched on, and some great moments, like Jordan and Pippen's 40/40 game and Pippen's "The Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays" comment to Malone weren't even mentioned.

Bah! I knew it had to happen. I just liked it when Celtic fans didn't have this type of DVD set and Laker fans (and fans of that other team) did.
