I'm late to the party, but this fargin rules!

I can't see the existing transfer on Fast Times looking any better than it does for a film of its age --- I don't think Universal would go through the effort of doing a full restoration. The only thing I am thinking is possibly a little better compressioning. I'll hold on to my ucrrent copy until I read the reviews.

I'm glad I waited such a long time before I picked up Dazed and Confused and Fastimes

oh well...i have been waiting already. |
Is it me or did the price go up as well? Amazon still has the old date with a $19.98 list ($13.99 sale). The dvdanswers post says $27.98 list price.
|
Bummer about the delay, but I'm totally looking forward to getting both of these. Glad I held off getting the current versions.

Cool ! It sounds like the deleted scenes included in the TV broadcasts of Fast Times WILL be included on the disk, after all. This is the first I have heard that the extra scenes will be included.
Although it would have been better if the extra scenes were cut back in as they improve the film (in my opinion), I've heard that Amy Heckerling is on record as saying she preferred the original release cut of the film. But in any case, this is a definite upgrade for me, although it's a bummer to have to wait a couple of extra months. |
Somehow I knew this would be delayed. I can't quite part with my current copy of "Dazed & Confused." It's perhaps the disc I play the most often.

So that's it?
Just deleted scenes on the new FAST TIMES disc? That's the only difference? |
Heeeyy, watch the leather man.
