Great job! The site looks fantastic - I really appreciate all of the time you put in to pull this off.
The only other thing I'd love to see are the raw vote totals. Is there a link to the master spreadsheet anywhere?

That's awesome, jough (although Fight Club HAS to be the greatest DVD of all time, democracy wins...)!
A great read and a reminder of all of the discs I have to pick up...

Then, of course, I forgot to post the links anywhere until after I got up, so the point was kinda moot anyway.

So, while I was tinkering I added some more user quotes to the Runners-Up page (I didn't put any there before, but I didn't want to take away the quote that was up there, and it wouldn't have looked right with just one title on the page having a quote - so, there's more now):

How can I take a list seriously that even has that in the top 1000?

Any title is on there because more people voted for it, and placed it more highly in their lists, than titles that weren't ranked as highly.
The list isn't scientific, but the results are.

Yeah I gotta hand it to you Jough, thats looks great, Can't thank you enough for the work well done!
I noticed that of the DVDs that made the list, only ONE of the I voted for appeared outside of the top 10!
I don't care what every single member of DVD Talk says about you Jough, I think you're allright.

Thanks for the kind words, all.
And thanks too for those who've linked to the site in other forums, in your blogs, etc. I appreciate it.
Yeah, it was more hours of work thank I had anticipated (My SO: "Whatcha working on?" Me: "That DVD Census I was telling you about." Her: "Still?") but it was a lot of fun, and it's nice to bring together something that other people enjoy.

Awsome job!
After reading most of the comments I went out and picked up Notorious. I hadn't realized it had gone out of print, and I had been looking for an excuse to pick it up. Thanks again.

I am disappointed to see that not enough people voted for The Goonies to have it included in the top 100 or the 25 runners-up.

Nice work.
I'm suprised that in 3 pages there are no "This is crap because it has The Rock on it, but not _________________ (insert other Criterion title here)!!!"
I think the sampling is good enough to produce an accurate representation of what the survey is trying to accomplish. If you asked a million people the same questions, the list would probably be about the same.
