That website that had the pic of the cover must of been a message board too. The posters all there were disappointed in this release. I hope I never become DVD snobby enough to not like Warner's 2-disc sets.

WB's 2-disc-ers are some of the nicest DVDs being released at the moment... Nothing but from me. Can't wait for this one (to be available from CH with an enrollment).

One of my all time favorites. I already ebayed my 25th Anniv.
I'm glad they retained the original poster art. I currently have an original 1973 14x36 insert archival framed and hanging in my HT.

There are at least two variations on that artwork that I noticed. On the original LP soundtrack cover Saxon isn't making a complete fist. His thumb is sort of on top of his hand. Han is looking to his right and behind the helicopter there are gauges and other electrical equipment.
The artwork for the Laserdisc is similar to the pic that was posted above.
I think the artwork on the LP is the original version.
BTW, I think they should of at least gave us the option of seeing the original U.S. cut on the new DVD. Even though I like seeing more footage of Bruce I think the U.S. cut better paced than the Asian cut.
