Release Dates for Oz: Seasons 3 & 4

From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
Oz Creator and Executive Producer Tom Fontana has posted the following information at his own website:

Oz Season 3 is set to release on 2/24/04 and Season 4 will be 10/5/04.

Hey! That doesn't specify on DVD, does it? Well, I can't think of what else he could possibly mean. Bear in mind, though, that all release dates are subject to change...especially when plans are made this far in advance!

It's about time! How many seasons did this show go on for?

Technically 6, but S4 had twice as many episodes. I am curious to see if they break S4 up into 2 volumes or come out with a big 6-disc set for that one.

I started watching Oz at episode 4.9.

Thank you!

I was getting worried that HBO was just going to stop with season two due to poor sales.

Actually, the date for season four is great considering that season two was a year after season one, and season three is 14 months after season two. Seven and a half months between season three and four seem great to me.

Whew! I still haven't opened Season 1 and Season 2 of Oz that I got a few months ago with the Suncoast misprice ($16.99 each, I believe). I was waiting for some announcement of future sets. If that announcement never came, I was going to exchange them somewhere or eBay 'em. Now I can sit down and watch 'em. Well...maybe not. I'll wait a while for more confirmation that they're coming to DVD as opposed to VHS.
