Is every episode of Roughnecks on DVD?

Since CTS released The Homefront Campaign, does that mean every episode (40) of the series is on DVD?

Rain Man is correct. You're not missing anything with the clip shows because it's just re-used animation. The missing episode "Trackers" is the bridge between the "Klendathu Campaign" and the "Homefront Campaign". Apparently, it was left off of the Homefront disc because the 5 eps on the DVD were encoded at such a high quality that they couldn't fit a 6th ep on there. I think that's a stupid excuse on their part, but the story line still works without it so I guess it's okay.

thanks for the sequence, I'm watching the series from netflix.

Unfortunately, I watched Klendathu first, but will watch homefront last.

Now we're going to have all the produced episodes on dvd:

DavidDVD.com
"On the animated side of things, Columbia will release Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles - Trackers also on June 1st. This disc includes the episodes "Pluto and Beyond," "Propaganda Machine," "Marooned" and "Court-Martial of Lt. Razak" in fullscreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no extras. Retail is $14.95."

Bit of a waste of money for one episode and some clip shows. But I'll have to buy it as I've never seen "Trackers." Bastards!

At least they priced it at $15 and not $27...but releasing one 'real' episode on a DVD sucks in general.

Any word on the "unproduced story arc?"

Personally I've filed that in the "snowballs in hell" category If they were going to do it we should have heard something by now I would think.

Anybody know why the Tesca campaign was only in Dolby 2.0?

I just picked up the Trackers DVD for $8 from DDD during their %20 off sale. Worth it in my opinion to get the one missing episode as well as the clip shows to complete the set.

Right?

That is the order of the storyline and not the order they were released correct?

I had posted a similar question the order day on HTF. Didn't really get a good response.

So that's where Zephyr goes!

The 'bonus' eps on Tracker go after Homefront don't they?

Glad I got the last two discs released from DDDVD during their sale.

I also am wondering about the true order to watch them.

^^^ Yes.

Umm, a good way to find out is to do a Google for Rougnecks and look for the Roughnecks Chronicles fansite and they have a episode guide list. The campaigns aren't labeled as such, so you have to read through some episode descriptions to figure out what they are.

Some of those websites also have petitions to complete the series. I wish they posted if they got any response. Since the demand was great enough for them to put a single episode on DVD, I would imagine they would make money completing the series.

It would have been nice but I suspect everyone has gone on to other projects and we'll never see them.

I think people were hoping that if they sold enough DVD's that would be an insentive to complete the unfinished episodes. Looks like that didn't happen....at least they sold enough so that they released all the finished episodes on DVD.
