This was a great show, if its in anamorphic WS I'll pick it up, although if its just FF, then I wont bother.
I was sad to see it be yet another FOX casualty.

Only managed to catch one episode by mistake...just noted that one of the male leads looked like a Tom Cruse clone (circa Risky Business).
Oh, and one scene had the female lead going undercover in a hot tub and kissing a female suspect.
Can't see why anyone would get excited about this release.

Just a reminder, this comes out tomorrow. I am staying true to my word and picking it up first thing in the morning. I haven't read anything about the music changing...anyone else?

I'm renting this off Netflix. I get disc 1 on Tuesday. Wasn't there an episode where Tiffani Amber Theissen makes out with a girl?
The only episode I remember somewhat was the one that had the Hot Biker Chick Thieves.

One of the biker chicks ("Shelly") in the episode "Girls Own Juice" was Tatyana Ali who is most known for playing the character of Ashley Banks on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".
Wish I could get this - was a favorite of mine - but I have to save my cash these days.

A friend of mine who is a huge fan (and had all the shows recorded) just left me a voice mail saying a lot of the music has been changed on the DVD set.
Just called him and he said a lot of the music has changed, including the theme song. There is a notice on the box about change of music. Crap.

I saw a marathon of Fastlane eps on TV One a month or so ago, and it basically killed my interest in the show, which I'd planned on buying as I'd missed it on FOX, and always wanted to see it. It's like a technically updated, faster-paced, more hollow version of Miami Vice, sans the character chemistry that made that show work. If it's on sale for $25-$30 at some point, I MIGHT pick it up just to watch all of the eps and get a more accurate view of the show, but what I saw didn't impress me much.

I can't believe I am actually considering returning this. This release was at one time one of my "holy grail" releases and the release we are getting is barely better than not having one at all. I'm not sure it even counts - no widescreen, no theme song... I've got about half the run saved off from when they first aired. I almost dumped them once this release was announced. Guess I'll still be needing them...

Just got my set, theme is gone, just some generic techno. no lyrics, no snoop dogg. And the case is broken on the inside. Yay!

This has got to be one of the worst DVD releases I've encountered. Everything they could screw up, they did. Well, ok, we haven't had any reports of edited episodes yet, but I won't be surprised if that's next...

I'm 3 episodes into disc 1 after renting this from Netflix. I think this show has some decent eye candy (lots of cool cars and hot chicks), but honestly this is probably one of the most over-produced cop shows I have ever seen.
What is up with Facinelli and his bad Martin Riggs impersonation? He's literally running around in every scene with his shirt open and 2 guns blazing. Bellamy is so not funny as the partner....He's a terrible terrible actor.
Does this show get any better after the 1st four episodes?
On a side note, I was pleasantly surprised to see Abby Brammell from The Unit in the 2nd episode.

Just watched episode 4 and it was actually pretty damn good. I was surprised to see Pre-movie star Terrence Howard guest star in it. The episode had a very gritty Miami-vice type feel to it and I want to retract my statement about Bill Bellamy. He was actually pretty good in this episode.
