It's not as great as the Kevin Smith/Ben Affleck commentaries, but it's still pretty fun.

The new additions are

1. Extra 15 seconds or so of Frank streaking. (The scene where he is leaving the party and runs down the street setting off the car alarm)
2. Extra 45 seconds or so with Andy Dick, lots of stuff in this scene that was cut.
3. Finally, there seems to be an additional 5 seconds or so with the naked girls in the KY Jelly.

Anyway Target has a ripoff scam on the film. They actually had both versions. Yet the P&S versions were on sale for $15,while the unrated WS version was $20!
The unrated WS was only $15 at the Target where I bought Old School.

Will Ferrell is the funniest person out there today (lets hope he does succomb to the SNL curse, if you're funny you die (i.e. Farley, Belushi, etc.))
There's no SNL curse. If you're grossly overweight or a drug addict, there's a greater chance you can die. As far as I know, Ferrell isnt grossly overweight or a druggie.

This is exactly right, but there is ALSO a few more seconds of PORNO at the beginning on TV that Juliette Lewis is watching... these are the only additions...

also, while the Singer does swear throughout the wedding... he never said "you're my ****ing lady" .. it was always just "you're my lady"...

Great disc, really enjoying it.

After watching it a second time today, I have found only one more alteration that wasn't mentioned yet. In the beginning when Luke Wilson says he sometimes does the same thing as Heidi, but only "to magazines", there is a change. In the theatrical release the shot was of Wilson as he said the line, in the Unrated cut it was on the nude people coming out of the room.

I have seen this film too many times.

could most of this stuff that is in the unrated cut gotten away with an R, or is the existing content bad enough, and the cut stuff was too much for the mpaa.

It could have passed. They just went back and added a few little things for the "Unrated" edition. Some of it was just additions, some was actually changing the shots to add more nudity than their was in the "R" version. All of it could have been in the "R" though IMO.

Nope, he's a marathon runner who was even on the cover of Runner's World this past winter.

I popped in the dvd, looked at the case, and thought, "Awards and Nominations, did we win anything?" sounded pretty funny. So I looked for it, and looked for it, and didn't find it. Not only that, but the "Welcome to Old School, Now get Undressed" feature doesn't seem to be there either, though I did find the *insert saracasm* wonderful *close sarcasm* Snoop video. Am I just overlooking these two features on the menus, or are they really missing?
I finally opened my copy I bought from Columbia House the other day and was confused about this also. I'll check for the easter eggs. Maybe this is where those features are at.
