If it has all the other disc's features and it can be had for cheaper, then I'll get it. Since it's foreign, I always see the Disney release for $24.99 which I think is too much.

Anybody know how this release is different than the Miramax release? New/better transfer? Different extras?

So far, it sounds to me like it is exactly the same.

agreed. i think Sony owns the rights to that one (unless they've changed). this movie is crying out for a blu-ray release (and DVD re-release).

Extras will include a commentary with director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, a “Fine Cooked Meats: The Making of Delicatessen” featurette, rehearsals and behind-the-scenes footage from the set, a photo gallery, and the trailers.

It's missing something called "The Archives of Jean-Pierre Jeunet" from the Disney DVD, unless that's the "rehearsals and behind-the-scenes footage from the set", and also perhaps a set of "teasers."
