Another really good one is Campfire Tales from 1997 (not to be confused with 2001's Campire Stories a god-aweful excuse for a horror anthology starring Jamie Lynn Sigler from the Sopranos). And the recent VH1 movie Strange Frequency wasn't too bad either.

My personal favorites are:

• Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)
• Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990)
• Cat's Eye (1985)
• Creepshow (1982)
• Creepshow 2 (1987)
• Tales from the Crypt (1972)
• The Vault of Horror (1973)

Some others not yet mentioned:

• Trilogy of Terror II (1996)
• Dead of Night (1977)
• Tales of the Third Dimension (1984)

Whatever happened to the Men Behind the Sun dvd? The last I heard it was scheduled for 8/5, which came and went without a release. Now it's not listed for sale or pre-order anywhere - was it cancelled?

Its really good stuff .
Also check out THE VEIL 2 DVD set hosted by Boris as well.It has some really spooky tales on it.
Isn't the entirety of the first DVD you mentioned ("Jack the Ripper," on Acme/Rhino) inluded in the two-disc "Veil" set? Why would someone need both?

Edit: Fixed label mistake...

never heard anything. I'm tired of waiting though. I think I'll just order the original all-region discs later this month.

Hey, it's my thread! Oh how I've missed this one. I call her Goldie. She was a good ol' bird.

And it's always great to see some Danol posts. He's still here in spirit guys.
