I have the bootleg in my collection, but only because my sister-in-law didn't know any better when she bought it for my wife. Regardless, I would pick up the legit version the day it came out either way.

Just bringing this up. Man this movie has got to come out. I'm hoping for this year like I do every year but I hope it actually comes. When Monster Squad came on Tv in October did anyone catch which company owned this? Because if we can figure that out maybe we can then start writting the letters.

Whoever is just sitting on the rights to this movie is losing out on a lot money to be had...for such an obscure movie, it gets mentioned on a lot of people's DVD wish lists. Just from a business standpoint, I'd try to at least release a bare bones disc...and I would've done it years ago.

I really can't believe that now one of the most wanted couple of DVD's for my collection, is Monster Squad and Night Of The Creeps. They aren't the most anticipated ones but they're up there. They need to get movin' on this!

Wouldn't the showing on Voom have some indication of who currently holds the rights? I seem the remember after movies on HBO there would be a title card right after the credits showing things like "Warner Bros. domestic" and such. Perhaps there is one after this movie.
