Blue Chips ?
Is this ever coming out on dvd?
My brother was just watching our old vhs for the first time in years.I caught the last few minutes of the film & forgot how good it really was.
It just has this energy to it..that even Any Given Sunday lacked despite it's non-stop flashiness(which really made me ill in theaters). While i'm not a sports fan by any means(i get bored as hell watching games..yet palying them is cool). Id love to get this on dvd if it ever makes it on the format.Though then again, this is Paramount & that means no extras & overpriced.
I may give Any Given Sunday another chance.Only saw that in theaters, but the constant quick editing made me dizzy + the film impossible to follow after awhile.

I remember this movie bombed and the reviews hated it, but then when I saw it on TV one time I loved it. I couldn't figure out why it was frowned upon. Shaq sucked but he wasn't the star.
It's not the best basketball pics, but it's one of the most honest. This and "He got game" really gets it.

I actually bought the on VHS about 8-10 months ago used because I was tired of waiting. Thankfully, I only spent 3 bucks or less. MSRP for the DVD is 14.95...Deepdiscountdvd.com has a pre-order price for 9.36.

I would love a Shaquille O'Neal commentary track.... it would probably go something like this.(In low voice) "You know... there was this player, who I won't mention his name, who reminded me of this guy in this scene. He would never pass the ball and thought he was Micheal Jordan. No, it was n't Dwayne Wade or Penny, but that's all I'm saying. I'm not a name dropper like some people".
