Mine shipped out from DVD Empire this morning. I paid for USPS Expedited Shipping ($5.30) so I should have it by Thursday or Friday. My money order got to them later than I hoped - otherwise it would have shipped out early Friday morning and I would have gotten it yesterday.

Moving Violations has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I can't wait to hear the commentary track with the director. I wonder why John Murray never got many film roles? He's hilarious in this.

"Get out on the highway. See how it feels."
"Like shit!"

"Will there be any handy cooking tips like what to do with all of those darn holiday leftovers?"

"Sit down Mr. Cannon."
"Could it be? Oh no. It is. Reunited at last. 'Cause it feels so good!"

Wow! Let's nominate this thing for booklet/insert for the year!

It's a whopping 16 page Driver's Manual with funny facts about real driver's manuals, pics, and other info!

Great job Anchor Bay!

Next to Revenge of the Nerds and Summer School, this was my favorite Comedy as a kid. Anchor Bay just keeps delivering. A Commentary! It's a pretty good one, too. The transfer is decent for a mid-80's low budget comedy, some of the colors are surprising vibrant. There's a 5.1 audio track.

Glad I spotted this thread...I'll have to go out tomorrow and snag this one if I can...

When's Super Fuzz come out? I think that's the name of it...the cop who got super powers? I remember laughin' my ass off when I was a wee one.

I still want Private School with Phoebe Kates and Private Lessons

Another official release I'd like to see is the animated film "The Sea Prince And The Firechild"

Also, any news on Fairy Tale Theater with Shelly Duvall??(Sp?)

Thanx

That's been on sale in a complete box set for a while. Amazon currently has it up for 49.99

I believe it's spelled Fairie Tale Theatre though, maybe that's why you couldn't find it on there?
